This Privacy Policy explains how The Hose Barn, LLC ("The Hose Barn," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit myhosebarn.com, contact us, opt in to text messages from us, or buy from us.

Information we collect

• Contact information: your name, email address, and phone/mobile number when you call, text, or email us, send us a message on our contact form, ask for a quote, place an order, or opt in to text messages.
• Your messages: what you write to us on the contact form, by email, or by text.
• Order information: the products and services you ask about or buy, your quotes and invoices, and your payment records.
• Text messaging information: described in the Text messaging (SMS) section below.
• Website information: like most websites, our web server records the IP address, browser, and pages requested for each visit, for security and troubleshooting. Our contact form uses one security cookie that protects it from forged submissions. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and give you quotes
• To fill your orders, perform service, and tell you when an order is ready
• To bill you and keep business and tax records
• To send the text messages you opted in to, and to honor HELP and STOP requests
• To protect our business, our website, and our customers, and to meet our legal obligations

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with the service providers below, which process it on our behalf:

• Payment processors, to process card payments when you pay by card
• Our website, email, and business software providers, which host and store our website, email, and records for us
• Authorities or other parties, when the law requires it or when needed to protect our rights, our customers, or the public

No phone/mobile number information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from The Hose Barn on our contact form, we collect your mobile number, the messages you send to and receive from us, and a record of your consent (date, time, IP address, browser, and the consent wording shown). We use it only to provide customer support, quotes, order status and pickup notices, and service scheduling; to honor HELP and STOP requests; and to keep legally required records. If you text us without opting in, we use your number only to reply about your question. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data retention

We keep contact messages and customer, order, and billing records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep business and tax records. Web server records are kept only as long as we need them for security and troubleshooting. SMS consent and opt-out records are kept for 5 years after your last text message or opt-out.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Our website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and the messages and consent records it collects are stored outside the public website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correction, and deletion: email us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.
• Opt-out: you may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may ask us to stop emailing you. We do not sell or share personal information for marketing or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's privacy

Our website and business serve adults and businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
